Cambodian Stamps issued in 2003

The ASEAN Stamp Album Project

Published in 2003 by the Postal Services Department of Brunei Darussalam, the ASEAN stamp album project front cover for the edition sold in Cambodia.

Taken from the introduction contained within the album:

"The publication of the third ASEAN Stamp Album is to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of ASEAN. It is the first of its kind to be published among the 10 member countries. While the first two publications (published by Singapore in 1992 and Malaysia in 1994, respectively) contain information and commemorative stamps from the first six member countries, the third edition incorporates those of the four new members – Vietnam, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Cambodia.

Each chapter in the album is divided into two segments. The first part consists of general information about the country; the second highlights a country’s geography, ecology, culture and attractions. The album contains samples of the commemorative stamps contributed by each country depicting flowering plants, flowers or fruits.
